Generate your first video

Open the app and click Generate New Video on the Dashboard (or Generate new video on the Videos page). The generation dialog has three steps.

1. Select a product

Search your catalogue by product title and pick a product. Only products with at least one image can be used.

2. Select photos

Click the photos you want to use.

  • Free plan: one photo per video.
  • Pro, Pro Plus and Pro Max: up to three photos. The first one you choose becomes the start photo; you can pick a different photo as the end photo for models that support it (see AI models). The AI animates from the start photo towards the end photo. On Kling 3.0 the photos you select besides the start photo are reference views of the product: the model uses them when the product turns or the ad cuts to a close-up.

3. Video settings

SettingWhat it does
Start photo / End photoWhich selected photos open and close the clip. End photo is optional and only offered for models that support it. A video model only knows the side of the product it has been shown: with one photo the clip stays on that side, and to show the product from another side you choose a photo of that side, from the same shoot, as the end photo (see Getting the best results).
ResolutionThe output size, from 360p up to 1080p depending on the model. Higher resolutions cost more credits.
Aspect ratioLandscape 16:9 (YouTube, web), Vertical 9:16 (Reels, TikTok), Square 1:1 (Instagram feed) and, on some models, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3, 21:9 and 9:21. The video takes the shape of the framed photo (next row), so a square product photo still gives a true vertical or landscape video.
SceneOptional: re-stage the product in a new setting before it is animated. Pick a preset (studio podium, daylight, lifestyle, outdoor, campaign) and click Render scene; the product stays exactly as photographed, only the surroundings change. Each render costs 4 credits, charged immediately, and you can re-render until you like it. Every scene you render is kept while you work: switch to another photo, format or setting and come back, or close the dialog, without paying again (presets that already have a scene are marked with a ✓). With a scene, the framing and end-photo options do not apply.
FramingHow the photo is fitted to that shape, with a live preview. Auto (recommended) extends flat studio backgrounds with their own colour, crops busy scenes when little is lost and otherwise fits the whole photo over a blurred copy. You can also force Extend background, Crop to fill or Fit. Pro plans get AI expand, which lets an AI model continue the scene beyond the photo's edges (+5 credits per photo, rendered during generation).
DurationLength of the clip in seconds. Each model has its own range, from 4 to 30 seconds. Credits are charged per second.
Automatically add video to productWhen on, the finished video is uploaded to the product's media gallery as soon as it completes. You can also do this later from the Videos page.

Advanced mode (Pro plans)

Pro plans get an Advanced Mode switch that reveals:

  • AI Model – choose any of the available models; the Info button shows each model's specifications, best use cases and a cost calculator.
  • Custom Prompt – describe the movement or mood you want, e.g. "slow 360° rotation on a marble table". Vigenfy plans every video as a short product commercial made for that product: from the product title, its description and category, the clip length, the format and your notes it works out a creative idea that suits it (water surges around a bottle, ingredients swirl around a jar, light streaks race around a gadget, a room comes alive around a piece of furniture; no water on a book), a camera move and the lighting. The product keeps its design, colours, logo and label, and it is not turned to a side your photos do not show unless you ask for a rotation or choose an end photo. A new idea is drawn for each generation; write what you want in Custom Prompt to steer it. When audio is generated, the prompt also asks for background music that matches the product category (for example upbeat pop for fashion, elegant piano and strings for jewellery, clean electronic for tech) plus subtle product sound effects, and no dialogue or voice-over.
  • Generate Audio – for models that offer it; roughly doubles the credit cost.
  • Fixed Camera – keeps the camera still so only the product moves (Seedance 1.5 Pro).
  • Multi-shot ad – for Kling 3.0: the clip is cut into 2–4 shots (opening on your photo, details, a final shot of the whole product) instead of one continuous move. On by default for that model.
  • Story ad – for Seedance 2.0: a commercial in 3–5 new scenes written for the product, rendered from your photos as references instead of starting on one of them. Scene, framing and end photo are not used. People in the ad is on by default: a person may wear, hold or use the product; switch it off for an ad told with places, objects and light only.

On the Free plan you choose between Seedance 1.5 Pro and P-Video (Budget); the prompt is written automatically.

Cost and confirmation

The Estimated cost box updates as you change settings and compares it with your available credits. If the video would use more than half of your balance the app asks you to confirm; if you do not have enough credits it blocks the generation and points you to Billing.

Credits are deducted when the generation starts. If the generation fails, they are refunded automatically (see Troubleshooting).

While it processes

After you click Generate Video the dialog closes and the video appears on the Dashboard and Videos page with the status Queued, then Processing. Typical waiting times are listed per model in AI models. When the clip is finished you get a Video ready notification on the Dashboard.

You can start up to 10 generations per hour on the Free plan and 30 per hour on Pro plans. Only generations that actually start are counted.
